Historical heritage of Tignale
To preserve and enhance local traditions.
In order to enhance the historical olive-growing heritage, the Latteria Turnaria manages and maintains a small educational olive grove containing centuries-old plants of ancient varieties (Gargnà, Trep, Miniol) and varieties characteristic of the Garda coast (Casaliva and Leccino).

The olive grove is open all year round and access is free. It can be reached by following path no. 260 which crosses the Oldesio olive grove and leads to the port of Tignale (Prà de la Fam), also home to the lemon grove/Ecomuseum of the same name. Once reached, it is possible to admire the plants present, accompanied by signs illustrating their main characteristics. During the year, guided walks and events are organised, which involve the educational olive grove, aimed at raising awareness among tourists and non-tourists alike, on issues concerning local agricultural traditions and the naturalistic peculiarities of our olive groves, often affected by areas protected at community level (Habitat nature 2000).
